Instructions for reviewing your offline tours as Apps on your windows computer operating system.
As these Apps are for review purposes and therefore not officially registered with Windows or Mac OSX your computer may try to prevent you from opening the application for security reasons. You may get messages on your Mac or PC saying ‘File not valid’ “file damaged’. ‘Application not trusted do not run’
First open windows security settings may stop a third party app from opening. On windows 10 you can open 'windows security' then on the side panel choose 'App and Browser control' switch the option to Off under 'Check apps and files' and ‘Off’ for Smart Screen Microsoft Store Apps. You can turn these security features back to 'On' at any time later.
After downloading go to your downloads folder and open the zip file we have sent you. You will see two folders ignore 'MAC OSX' and open 'APPS WINDOWS'
There you will see the application .exe file of your tour when you open it you will first need to extract the contents of the file on to your computer. Choose Extract and you can let the folder extract to your desktop or by default your download folder. This may take between 5 to 10 minutes.
Once that is done. You will see the extracted folder on your desktop or in your downloads folder, open that folder, then the next folder named the same as the last one. Then double click the application .exe file. You will get a grey box that comes up with 'Open file security warning' ignore this and click Run. Another grey box will appear with s blue loading bar as it a second time says extracting. After that the App will open you may get a windows security alert asking you to allow the app access through your firewall. You can click allow access for your private networks.
